The 3rd Youth Festival of the Turkic Council countries was held on December 2-6 in Istanbul (Turkey).

The representative of the Center for Non-Proliferation and Export Control, Aizada Asylbekova, as part of the Delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic, took part in the III Youth Festival of the Turkic Council countries.

The 3rd Youth Festival of the Turkic Council countries was held on December 2-6 in Istanbul (Turkey).

The festival was attended by over 150 young people from member countries of the Turkic Council – Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and guest countries – Turkmenistan, Hungary and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

The festival was aimed at ensuring effective cooperation among the members of the Turkic Council in the field of youth, exchanging experience on youth policy, ensuring cultural unity between the Turkic-speaking countries and promoting common values ​​of the countries of the Turkic Council.

In the framework of the festival, seminars on youth problems were held, where participants raised various issues in the field of youth and suggested ways to solve them.

On December 5, as part of the International Volunteer Day, a volunteer seminar was held, where festival participants presented the volunteer activities of each of the member countries of the Turkic Council.

Within the framework of this seminar, an expert from the Center made a presentation on the topic: “Volunteering in the Kyrgyz Republic”, also presented ways to improve volunteering in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Also, during the festival, the Center’s expert took an active part in cultural events and gained rich experience in expanding youth participation in peacebuilding, measures to prevent and combat violent extremism and radicalization among youth, and expressed hope that the youth platform will lay the foundation for further cooperation between the youth of the countries CCTS participants in promoting youth policy and ensuring security in the world as a whole.
