In the period from August 19-20, in the Issyk-Kul region, the Ministry of Economy and
Commerce, with the assistance of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek, held a round table on
the topic: “Implementation of the Action Plan of the Kyrgyz Republic for the implementation of
UNSCR 1540”, with the participation of interested government authorities, as well as
representatives of the Center and consultants of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek.
During the event, the current results of the implementation of this National Action Plan of
the Kyrgyz Republic on the implementation of Resolution 1540 were considered.
As a result of the event, a number of specific recommendations were developed for state
bodies in order to implement the Action Plan of the Kyrgyz Republic for the implementation of
UNSCR 1540 for 2022-2025.
