On October 16, 2019, the representatives of the Center and the UNRCPD discussed issues of education in the field of arms control and non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

On October 16, 2019, representatives of the Center for Non-Proliferation and Export Control held a meeting with Peace and Disarmament Education Project Coordinator of the United Nations Regional Centre for Peace and Disarmament in Asia and the Pacific (UNRCPD).
The main topic of the meeting was education in arms control, as well as in the sphere of non-proliferation and export control. During the meeting, plans for further cooperation of organizations in these spheres were also discussed.
UN Regional Centre for Peace and Disarmament in Asia and the Pacific assists countries in the region to achieve their peace, security, and disarmament goals, through provision of substantive support, coordination of activities at the sub-regional, regional and international levels, and information sharing on global and regional activities. UNRCPD is located in Kathmandu, Nepal.
