The CCI of the Kyrgyz Republic hosted a meeting with the EU Regional Advisor on Sanctions.
On July 9, 2025, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic hosted a meeting with the EU Regional Advisor on Sanctions in Central Asia, Mr. Klaus Zillikens.
The parties discussed the impact of the EU sanctions policy on Kyrgyz business, logistics, export and transit issues. Vice President of the CCI of the Kyrgyz Republic Tolkunai Taalaibekova spoke about the Chamber’s consulting work with entrepreneurs and emphasized that the Chamber regularly raises problematic issues at international venues.
Mr. Zillikens outlined the EU’s recommendations for reducing sanctions risks, including checking partners, tracking supplies and confirming the physical arrival of goods.
