The Centre for Non-Proliferation and Export Control took part in the second round of the Joint Consultative Mechanism with implementing partners, within the mandate of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek.
Ambassador Alexey Rogov, Head of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek, and Melis Mamadaliev, Director of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, spoke at the opening of the event.
During the event, presentations of projects implemented by the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek, the results achieved in 2023 and the activities planned for 2024 were reviewed.
In particular, projects and activities for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1540 were reviewed.
As part of the discussions, a representative of the Centre spoke, who highly praised the activities of the OSCE Programme Office, which systematically provides assistance to the Kyrgyz Republic in the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1540 and non-proliferation of WMD in general.
