From February to March 2024, in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Naryn, representatives of the Center for Non-Proliferation and Export Control acted as lecturers and trainers in a series of training seminars “Export Control of Dual-Use Goods” for employees of the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The series of trainings were organized by the Educational and Specialized Customs of the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic with the assistance of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek.
Representatives of the Center for Non-Proliferation and Export Control fully developed the curriculum for these trainings, including theoretical and practical material, tasks, pre- and post-tests. Based on the results of the final tests, the level of knowledge gained by the trainees increased by 35%, which demonstrated the high effectiveness of the trainings.
In addition, in order to raise awareness, the Center’s representatives covered issues of chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear safety, including issues of non-proliferation of Chemical, Biological and Nuclear weapons.
