An open lecture for students of the Kyrgyz National University on the topic: “Chemical Weapons Convention”

With the assistance of the Center for Non-Proliferation and Export Control, an open lecture was held for students of the Kyrgyz National University named J. Balasagyn on the topic: “Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons”.

On October 19, 2023, with the assistance of the Center for Non-Proliferation and Export Control, an open lecture was organized and held online for graduate students of the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn on the topic: “Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons”.

Representatives of the Center, Marat Sadykov and Taalaibek Bektashev, took part in the open online lecture, who spoke in detail about the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, the prerequisites for its creation, its main objectives, and the activities that it regulates.

The online lecture was held for master’s students majoring in “Strategic Trade Control, International and Customs Law” at the Law Institute of the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn.

The Center hopes that such events will increase awareness and knowledge among future specialists on chemical safety issues, including the implementation of the Chemical Weapons Convention.
