He is an Expert in the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) field, Ex-military officer, and a Retired Lieutenant Colonel. He served in the Army on command and administrative CBRN positions. He graduated from Tambov military Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) College and Moscow CBRN military university.

From 2010 to 2017 he worked for the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons as an inspector (Chemical Weapon Munitions Specialist). Has a lot experience in demilitarization procedures of munitions and means of delivery. He had a tour of duty to war areas.

He participated in many special trainings and courses such as dual-use and specialized equipment identification course, international investigation course, seminar on the legal aspects of combating terrorism, workshop on weapons of mass destruction interagency crisis incident management, advanced course in civil defense against chemical weapon, international defense management course and etc.
