On January 24-25, 2024, a seminar on the topic: “UK Sanctions Support Program” was held at the Orion Hotel in Bishkek, which was held with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and organized by the law firm “Fieldfisher” (UK).
This seminar discussed the types of UK sanctions, the structure of sanctions, the risks of non-compliance with sanctions, as well as the UK export control procedure.
The organized event was of an introductory nature and was attended by representatives of government agencies, organizations and institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic.
