On November 10, in the building of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, the awarding of active officers, reserve officers and a number of civilians took place on the eve of the celebration of the professional holiday “Day of Chemical Biological Radiation, and Nuclear (CBRN) Protection Specialists.”
Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, Lieutenant General B.A. Bekbolotov, in his welcoming speech, he highly noted the merits of the specialists and units of the CBRN protection, their role in the combat support system for troops, and paid tribute to the participants in the liquidation of the Chernoble tragedy.
After the welcoming speech of the Minister of Defense, active officers, reserve officers and a number of civilians were awarded medals and certificates of honor from the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic. Among the awarded persons were representatives of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek for their active assistance in modernizing the training and material base for CBRN protection specialists. Reserve officer Lieutenant Colonel M.A. Sadykov was awarded the medal “For Fidelity to Duty”, 2nd degree.
